EXTERIOR CARE
As part of the winterization of the yacht, a variety of items must be checked and completed on the exterior of the yacht
prior to storage. Carver has created a checklist as follows:
• Wash the exterior of the yacht, particularly the underwater portions.
• Remove as much aquatic growth as possible while wet. Dried growth is more difcult to remove.
• Check the zinc sacricial anodes for deterioration.
• Have the zinc sacricial anodes replaced before spring launch if signs of deterioration appear.
• Check stainless steel rails and ttings for signs of rust.
• Remove rust prior to winter lay-up. Inspect the underwater portions of the hull.
• Review anything that looks out of the ordinary with your Carver dealer.
