7. Remove the waste tank deck plate labeled “WASTE” using the removal tool supplied with your boat. This plate is
located in the forward STARBOARD corner of the boarding platform.
8. Flush the waste tank by pouring at least 3 gal (11 L) of freshwater through the “WASTE” deck tting.
9. Reactivate the overboard discharge pump and remove the fresh water and any remaining waste, and then turn the
pump switch OFF.
10. Close the overboard discharge seacock.
11. Replace the “WASTE” deck plate.
12. On the DC control center, switch the FORWARD WASTE PUMP circuit breaker OFF.
RAW WATER WASHDOWN (OPTIONAL)
The optional bow and transom raw water washdowns use seawater to wash down and clean the yacht.
USING THE RAW WATER WASHDOWNS
NOTICE: Never operate the washdown pump when the seacock supplying seawater to the washdown system is closed.
The pump can be damaged by continuing operation without seawater.
1. Locate the bow- and transom-mounted hose ttings. Each location is as follows:
– Bow-mounted tting: located on the forepeak deck under the hatch
– Transom-mounted tting: located in the STARBOARD transom storage

2. Attach one end of an appropriately sized nylon water hose (with nozzle) to the hose tting of choice.
