Each engine and the generator have a fuel lter/water separator to remove contaminants and any water from the fuel.

Fuel Transfer Control Valves
The C43 is equipped with a fuel transfer pump. This pump will pump fuel in either direction from the PORT and
STARBOARD fuel tanks. The control switch is at the helm and is a momentary, center off, two-way switch. Fuel can be
transferred in either direction and the process can be monitored by watching the fuel level gauges.
It is important to monitor the process because if you transfer too much fuel to either tank, the fuel will overow out the
tank vent and into the sea. This would be an illegal action.
Make certain that the fuel transfer control valves are open before the transfer process and closed after the process of
transferring fuel.
