whichhavesufcientwidth,length,thicknessandstrength.Therampslopeshouldbe15°orless.
Investigatebeforehandtheconditionsoftheroadtobetraveled,weightandsizelimits,andspeciallocaltrafcregu-
lations.Obtainanypermitsrequiredfrompropergovernmentagenciesformachinetransportation.

Positionthetraileronrmandlevelground.
Putblockstothetiresofthetrailertopreventtrailerfrom
moving.
Ifarearloadingtypetrailerisusedforroadtransport,
preparetheloadingramps.Iftherampsareincludedin
thetrailerframe,lowerthemtotheground.Iftheramps
areexternaltothetrailer,matchthemtotherearedge
ofthetraileravoidinganybumpbetweentrailerbedand
externalramps.

Ifloadingamachinewithblade,secureablocktothe
trailerbedattherestingpositionofthemachine.The
blockmustbeofasuitablesizeandstrengthtokeepthe
bladeinliftedpositionaround40cm(15.7in)abovethe
