TheFrontGuardProtectiveStructure(FGPS)mustbe
installedifthemachineisoperatedinconditionswhere
thereisariskofprojectionofrocksordebristowardsthe
frontofthecab,orariskofcollisionofheavyobjectswith
thefrontofthecab.
TwotypesofFGPSareavailable:aFGPScompliantto
Level1asdenedbyISO10262,oraFGPScompliantto
Level2asdenedbyISO10262.
Level1FGPS(1)isintendedforprotectionfromsmall
rocks,lightdebris,woodchips,andotherlightobjects
encounteredinapplicationssuchasconstructionsite
services,secondarysortingofcrushedmaterials,roads
maintenance,wasterehandling,landscaping.
NOTICE:TheupperpartoftheLevel1FGPScanbe
openedsotoeasecleaningandmaintenanceofthewind-
shield.Neverstartmachineoperationwiththeupperpart
oftheFGPSopened.Failingtocomplymayresultin
deathorseriousinjury.
Level2FGPS(2)isintendedforprotectionfromheavy
stones,rockorconcreteblasts,steelscrap,logsandother
heavyobjectsencounteredinapplicationssuchasquarry,
mining,primaryandsecondarydemolition,scraploading,
logstacking.
Theprotectivestructures,thettingsupportsandfasten-
ingelementsonthemachineareallpartsofanintegrated
protectivesystem.
Nevermakemodications,ordrillholes,orweldpartson
protectivestructures.Doingsowillresultindeathorseri-
ousinjury.
Neverattachanydevicetotheprotectivestructuresfor
pullingpurposes.Doingsowillleadtoseriousdamages
totheprotectivestructures.
Afterare,acollision,oratip-over,orincaseofcorrosion,
thecabprotectivestructuresshallbecarefullycheckedfor
damagesbyspecialisedandqualiedpersonnel.More-
over,alldamagedpartsmustbereplacedwithgenuine
spareparts,inordertoreturntheprotectivesystemtoits
originalcondition.Makesuretomatchthepartnumber
ofeachprotectivestructure.ImmediatelycalltheCASE
CONSTRUCTIONdealerforinspectionoftheconditions
ofthecab'sprotectivestructures,ortogetpartsorentire
structuresreplaced.
