NOTICE:Replacefuelpre-lterswhenthetextmessageFUELFILTERisdisplayed.Thelterscouldbeclogged
earlierthan500hdependingonthefuelqualityandotherconditions.
NOTICE:Donotworkinanyenvironmentinwhichanythingotherthanfuelwillgetintofuellines.(Siteswithstrong
wind,blowingdust,etc.).Washhandsbeforeoperations.Donotusegloves.Donotopenthepackagingforthelter
kituntilyoustarttheinstallationwork.Donotreuseanyfuelremainingwithinthecover.Forpersistentdirtwithinthe
cover,wipeitoffwithacleanrag,thencleanwithcleandieselfuel.Donotusepartscleanerbecauseitcouldaffect
thecasecover.Donottouchtheinsideoftheelement.Completelywipeoffanyspilledfuelafterchangingthelter
element.

1.Placeacontainerwithanappropriatecapacityunder
thepre-lters.
2.Closethefuelcutvalve.

3.Loosenthedrainplug(1),theairbleedplug(2),and
drainfromtheleft-handfuelpre-lter.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthepre-lterbody,andthenre-
moveitwiththespecicwrenchsuppliedwiththema-
chine.
5.Installanewlterelement.Replacethesealonthe
pre-lterbody,andtheninstallthebodyonthepre-lter
headbyturningitmanually.
NOTICE:neverllthepre-lterbodywithfuelbeforethe
installation.
