Checkthewaterdepositatthebottomofthefuelpre-lterbodiesevery10horeveryday.
Whentheoatingringreachesthelevelindicatedby
theline(A):
1.Placeacontainerwithanappropriatecapacityunder
thepre-lters.
2.Loosenthedrainplug(1)andtheairbleedplug(2),and
thendrainwaterandsediment.
3.Whentheoatingringreachesthebottom,tightenthe
drainplug(1)andtheairbleedplug(2)tothetorqueof
2–3N·m(1.48–2.21lbft)8–12N·m(5.90–8.89lb
ft)respectively.
NOTICE:Overtighteningcandamagetheseal.
4.Checkforanysignsofleaks.
NOTICE:Incoldweather,watermayfreezeontopofthe
pre-lterbodies.Waituntilicemeltsbeforedrainage.
