Thegatelocklever(1)allowstocancelthefunctioningof
thecontrolleversandpedalsandoperatesthesafetybar
(2).
Thesafetybarpreventstheoperatorfromleavingthecab
withoutpreviouslyoperatingthegatelocklever(1)tocan-
celthefunctioningofthecontrolleversandpedals.

Thegatelockleveroperatesonthreepositions:
A.Forwardposition:whenthegatelocklever(1)isin
forwardposition,thesafetybar(2)isinoutwardpo-
sition.Theattachment,thetravelfunctionsandthe
swingfunctionscanbeoperatedandthesafetybar
doesnotallowtheoperatortoleavethecab.
B.Centralposition:whenthegatelocklever(1)isincen-
tralposition,thesafetybar(2)isininwardpositionin-
sidetheconsole.Theattachment,thetravelfunctions
andtheswingfunctionscannotbeoperatedevenifthe
engineisrunning.Theoperatormayleavethecabif
needed.
C.Backwardposition:whenthegatelocklever(1)isin
backwardposition,thesafetybar(2)isininwardpo-
sition,allthefunctionsaredisabledandthelefthand
consoleisfullyraised.Theoperatorcanthuseasily
getoffthecab.
NOTE:setthegatelocklevertocentralpositionifjust
stoppingmachineoperationwithoutleavingthecab.Set
thegatelocklevertobackwardpositionwhenendingma-
chineoperationandleavingthemachine.
NOTE:theenginemustbestartedwiththegatelocklever
incentralposition.Ifthegatelockleverinforwardposi-
tion,theenginedoesnotstart.
