picture,andlowertheboomslowlyuntilthebucket
linkagelaysontheblock.
3.Checktheoverallheightbetweenthegroundandthe
highestpointofthemachineandchecktheoverall
widthofthemachine.Makesuretobewithinthesize
limitsdenedbeforetransport,inordertoconrmdoc-
umentsandpermissionsalreadygottocomplytothe
localtrafcregulations.
4.Placethegatelockleverincentralposition.Stopthe
engineandremovethestarterkey.
5.Getoffthemachine.Retracttheradioantenna.Fold
therearviewmirrors.
6.Lockthecabdoorandthesidepanels.
7.Checktheconditionofthetie-downpointsonthe
trailer.
8.Putchocks(B)againsttheedgesofthetracks.
9.Passawirerope(C)aroundthebuckettosecurethe
frontequipmenttothetrailer.
10.Fixoneendofatie-downchain(D)toeachofthefour
lashingpoints(E)identiedontheinsideofthelower
frame.
11.SetthechainsinanXshapeasshowninthepicture,
andxthemtothetie-downpointsonthetrailer.T en-
sionthechainsevenlytosecurethemachinetothe
trailer.
12.Carryoutanalcheckofthetie-downcondition.
13.Ifarearloadingtypetrailerisusedforroadtransport,
liftorremovetheloadingramps.
14.Removeblocksfromthetiresofthetrailer.
