Fuel
UseonlyLowSulphurDieselthatmeetstheNationalRegulationsforcommercialdieselfuel.
NOTICE:NeveruseDieselfuelhavingasulphurcontenthigherthan350ppm.
Usingothertypesoffuelmayleadtostalledengineoutputordeteriorationinfueleconomy.
NOTICE:Thewarrantyshallbeinvalidifanyseriousdefectiscausedbyusageofanyotherfuel.Usinganyfuelother
thantheprescribedtypewillcausedamagestothefuelsupplysystem,tothefuelinjectionsystem,andtotheengine
block.CASECONSTRUCTIONwillnotberesponsibletoanyofsuchdamages.
Ifthetemperaturedropsbelowthefuelcloudpoint,outputdeciencyorenginestartproblemsmayoccurduetowax
crystals.
NOTICE:Ifoperatinginseverewinterclimate,consultthefuelsupplierortheCASECONSTRUCTIONdealerfor
specicdieselfueltobeused.
Thedieselfueltobeusedonthemachineshall:

befreefromdustparticles,evenminuteones.

havetheproperviscosity.

haveahighcetanenumber.

presentgreatuidityatlowtemperatures.

havelowsulphurcontent.
•
haveverylittleresidualcarbon.
NOTICE:Neveruseamixofdieselfuelandoldengineoil.Thefuelinjectionsystemandtheexhaustaftertreatment
systemwillbeseverelydamaged.

NOTICE:inordertopreventcondensationduringcoldweather,llthefueltanktofullaftercompletingtheday'swork.
Fuelstorage:
Longstoragecanleadtotheaccumulationofimpuritiesandcondensationinthefuel.Enginetroublecanoftenbe
tracedtothepresenceofwaterinthefuel.Thestoragetankmustbeplacedoutsideandthetemperatureofthefuel
shouldbekeptaslowaspossible.Drainoffwaterandimpuritiesregularly.
Disposalofuids,lubricants,andspareparts
Fluids,lubricantsandsparepartsusedonthemachinearenotfullycompatiblewiththeenvironment.Makesureto
carryoutallmaintenanceoperationsusingappropriatetools,inordertoavoidanyriskofdamagingtheenvironment.
NOTE:forexample,makesurethatthereceptacleforcollectingoiltobereplacedisnotleaking.
Neverspreaduidsorlubricantsonthegroundorintowater.ConsulttheCASECONSTRUCTIONDealerorthe
LocalEnvironmentalAgencyinordertoobtaininformationonthecorrectmethodofdisposinguidsandlubricants
usedonthemachine.
