NOTICE:NeveraddSupplementalCoolantAdditives(SCA)whenusingOATEXTENDEDLIFECOOLANT/ANTIFREEZE.
OATEXTENDEDLIFECOOLANT/ANTIFREEZEhastobeusedifrellingofthecoolingsystemisneeded.Refertothe
dedicatedprocedureandrecommendationsdescribedinChapter6.
OATEXTENDEDLIFECOOLANT/ANTIFREEZEshallbeusedforthereplacementofenginecoolantaccordingtothemain-
tenanceprogramofthemachine.Thereplacementshallalsobetackledincaseofrepairorreplacementofcompo-
nentsofthecoolingsystem.RefertothededicatedproceduredescribedinChapter6.
Theenginecoolingsystemshallalwaysberelledwithcoolantsolutionmadebymixtureofantifreezeanddistilled
(deionized)water.

UsingOATEXTENDEDLIFECOOLANT/ANTIFREEZE,a50/50mixtureofantifreezeanddistilled(deionized)watergrants
properperformanceoftheenginecoolingsystemintheabovementionedoperatingtemperaturerangeofthema-
chine.
OATEXTENDEDLIFECOOLANT/ANTIFREEZEisavailableas:

50/50PREMIXEDcoolantsolutionreadyforusage.
•
CONCENTRATEantifreezetobemixed50/50withdistilled(deionized)water.
NOTICE:Ifoperatinginextremewinterclimate,acoolantsolutionmadeby60/40antifreeze/distilled(deionized)water
mixtureshallbeusedinordertograntproperperformanceoftheenginecoolingsystem.
NOTICE:Neverusecoolantsolutionwithmorethan60%ofantifreeze.Thisaffectsthecoolingcapacityofthemixture.
WhenthecoolantsolutionispreparedstartingfromtheCONCENTRATEproduct,theantifreezeconcentrationinthe
mixtureofantifreezeanddistilled(deionized)watercanbedeterminedwitharefractometerdesignedtomeasure
ethyleneglycolcontent.
Ifdistilled(deionized)waterisnotavailable,usewaterfordilutionwiththefollowingproperties:
