Tohandlesuspendedloadsproceedasfollows:
1.Removetheattachmentandthepinsfromthearm
top.Makesuretoknowthemassoftheobjectto
behandledandcompareitwiththedatalistedinthe
liftableloadschart(1)locatedinthecab.Donotlift
loadsexceedingthemaximumvaluesprescribedby
thetable.
NOTICE:Theweightofallliftingaccessoriesmustbe
deductedfromthemaximumliftingvaluesprescribed
bythetable.
2.PresstheONsideoftheoverloadwarningswitch(2)
toactivatetheoverloadwarningalarm.Theoverload
warningalarmisintendedtoavoidliftingofexcessive
loads.Ifanoverloadconditionisdetectedduringthe
handlingoftheload,themessageOVERLOADap-
pearsonthetopofthedisplayandtheoverloadwarn-
ingalarmsounds.
NOTICE:ifanoverloadconditionisdetecteddur-
ingthehandlingoftheload,placetheloadontothe
groundandchecktheloadconditionsmakingrefer-
encetothechartlocatedinsidethecab.
3.Securetheloadtothearmtopusingslingingdevices
andchainsadequatefortheloadtobelifted.Inorder
tolimittheswingingoftheload,avoidslingingitwith
cablesand/orchainstoolong.
4.SelecttheAworkmode.
5.Checkthesurroundingworkingareaandmakesure
thatthepaththatmaybetravelledwiththeloadisfree
fromobstacles.
6.Liftslowlytheload,avoidingsharpmovementswhich
couldcauseswingingoftheload.Keeptheloadnear
themachine,toimprovethestabilityandoperate,
preferably,alongitslongitudinalaxis,ratherthan
crossways.Lifttheloadfromthegroundtheminimum
heightrequired.
7.Positionandplacetheloadwheredesired,making
surethatitisrestingonasolidbaseappropriatefor
itsmass.
8.Removethechains.
