SETTINGS & TOOLS
1. From the idle screen, press the Center Select Key [MENU],
then use the Directional Key a to select Settings & Tools
and press the Center Select Key [OK].
2. Press 6 Phone Settings, 6 Security.
3. Enter the four-digit Lock Code, then press the Center Select
Key [OK].
4. Press 1 Edit Codes.
5. Press the Directional Key j up or down to select one of the
following settings, then press the Center Select Key [OK].
Phone Only Allows you to edit the Lock Code for the
handset only.
Calls & Services Allows you to edit the Lock Code for all
Calls & Services.
6. Enter the new four-digit code in the Enter New Code field.
If you selected Calls & Services in step 5, you also will need to
enter the current code before entering the new code.
7. Press the Directional Key d down to advance to the Re-enter
New Code field.
8. Enter the new four-digit code again as confirmation.
9. Press the Center Select Key [OK].
NOTE
There are two Lock Codes: Phone Only and Calls & Services.
k Restrictions
Use the following procedure to configure Location Setting, Calls,
Messages, and Dial-Up Modem restrictions.
1. From the idle screen, press the Center Select Key [MENU],
then use the Directional Key a to select Settings & Tools
and press the Center Select Key [OK].
2. Press 6 Phone Settings, 6 Security.
