Entering and Editing Information

Abc is the default text entry mode.

Press and hold the alphanumeric key to enter a number in Abc
mode.
k Using T9 Word Mode Text Input
T9 Word mode incorporates a built-in-dictionary to determine a
word based on the entered characters. A word can be entered
more quickly by pressing each key once per character.
To type the message “Call the office.” follow these steps from the
text entry screen:
1. Press the Left Soft Key, select T9 Word, then press the Center
Select Key [OK].
2. Press 2 2 5 5.
3. Press # to complete the word and add a space.
4. Press 8 4 3 #
6 3 3 4 2 3 1 #.
“Call the office.” is displayed.
k Using the NEXT Key
After you have finished entering a word, if the word displayed
is not the one you want, press 0 to display additional word
choices.
1. Press 4 6 6 3.
“Good” is displayed.
2. Press 0.
The display gives you additional choices such as: “Home”,
“Gone”, “Hood”, etc.
3. Press # to accept your choice and add a space.
