connection line is worn and whether the charging connector is firm and reliable;
checking whether there is dust in the chamber of the charging cabinet; checking
whether the grounding wire is reliably grounded.
During routine maintenance, ensure that the main cooling fan (located on the top
of the charging cabinet) works normally, or replace the fan of the same model
in time if it is faulty. The winding tube of the charging connection line is worn,
and the new winding tube should be changed in time to protect the charging
connection line; if the charging cable is aging, replace it with a new one. If the
charging connector is loose, it should be fastened in time. The dust inside the
charger should be cleaned regularly to prevent the deterioration of internal
insulation performance. It is recommended to clean the inside of the charging
cabinet every three months. In case of harsh environment, the user can shorten
the cleaning interval according to the specific situation.
Introduction to Battery Electric System
Battery Electric System
Battery electric vehicles (BEVs), as the name implies, use electricity to drive.
Battery electric vehicles are generally equipped with high-power (AC asynchronous
or permanent magnet synchronous) drive motors, which are driven by 380V or
even 600V high voltage and strong current from the on-board power supply, and
matched with the gearbox to output torque to the transmission system. At the same
time, high-voltage auxiliary functions such as electric steering pump, electric air
pump, electric air conditioner, electric defrosting, etc. are added, and DC/DC (body
power supply) is added accordingly DC/AC (power for electric steering pump and
air compressor) and other conversion devices.
The whole set of power storage, supply and output systems of electric vehicles
operate under the environment of high voltage and strong current, and safe
production is the most important.
Comparison Between Electric Vehicles and Traditional Vehicles
The power is different: the battery replaces the fuel of the traditional vehicle,
and the drive motor replaces the engine (internal combustion engine). This is the
essential difference between the two in terms of structure and working principle.
Transmission system: electric vehicles lack clutch compared with traditional
vehicles; the transmission has no separate reverse gear (reversing by changing the
rotation direction of the motor); the differential of traditional vehicles can also be
omitted when wheel drive is adopted.
