The 2U product family provides the option to support two 6 Gbps SATA SSDs or two PCIe NVMe SSDs installed to a drive module
mounted in the back of the system.

NOTE :
1. 2-port drive module is designed for OS and cache applications in which 7.0 mm/9.5 mm SATA SSD or 7.0 mm/15.0 mm
NVMe are suggested.
2. For these configurations, stressed program is set as 100% random write which generates the most heat as the worst scenario.
Solutions above are suggested for better thermal performance under this stressed condition.
3. Disk/flash drive behavior in OS/cache application is similar to mix random read/write which may allow users to adopt 2 x 15
mm NVMe. Physical test is suggested to evaluate the operating condition.
The backplane includes several connectors and a jumper block, as defined in the following.
