ISSUE CAUSE SOLUTION
CHI Panel is Not Functioning
No error message
1. 2-wire power cable from
MPC1 for power to the CHI
Panel is not connected.
Reconnect; replace if necessary.•
CHI Panel is Not Functioning
Message reads:
COMMUNICATION ERROR/
FAULTY CODE RETURNED
1. 4-wire communications
cable from the CHI Panel to
MPC1 is loose.
Check and repair connection at both
ends.

2. Communication cable is
attached backward.
Turn the connector over.
•
3. Power supply/AC detect
board PSC1 is not suppling
power to the CHI Panel.
Check. Replace defective board as
necessary.

4. MPC1 Machine Controller
circuit board is bad.
Replace.
•
CHI Panel is Not Functioning
Message reads:
COMMUNICATION ERROR/
NO RESPONSE FROM CON-

1. 4-wire communications
