Tail Photosensor Alignment
The tail photosensors watch as a atwork
piece is carried onto the discharge ribbons and
turn off when the trailing edge of the flatwork
clears them.
These are retroreflective sensors, which means
their proper operation depends on them being
properly aligned with their reflectors.
If these sensors are out of alignment, the
flatwork will not be stopped be properly spaced
on the discharge conveyor ribbons, slowing
production rates.
