PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Various components and parts of the unit require scheduled attention to assure long life and trouble-
free operation.
Except for checks requiring power, always turn the electrical disconnect switch OFF before performing
preventive maintenance. Since the STOP button and safety guard tests can only be done with power on,
perform these tests with extreme caution and attention to detail.
The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule outlines all of the PM tasks required at regular intervals.
All tasks are the responsibility of maintenance personnel. However, certain indicated tasks may be done
by trained operators.
All PM intervals are based on 8 hours/day operation. Increase the frequency for 2 or 3 shift
operations.
