PE1 Inlet Conveyor Sequences incoming items. If
an item is placed on the inlet
conveyor before the previous item is
grabbed by the transfer clamps, the
photosensor is tripped and the inlet
conveyor lifts to stall the incoming
item.

PE2A, B, C Left Corner Sensor Detect the trailing edge of the
flatwork entering the clutch roll.
Three sensors located at either side
of the inlet conveyor are activated
when the beam is interrupted by
flatwork. The clutch stops when
the flatwork has cleared the area
covered by the three sensors on
that side.

clamps during the spread and return
functions.

Detects the position of the upper
spreader clamps in the transfer

This sensor initiates the transfer
from the transfer clamps to the
spreader clamps and resets the
upper spreader position to HOME

proximity sensors positioned at
the base of the inlet conveyor. If a
persons’ hand is sensed, the inlet
