1. Press Setup to select Meas and the indicator of Meas is on. Figure 4-20 shows the
setting of Power.

2. In the special measurement display a blinking pattern will appear. Use , to select
POWER and press Enter/Trig to save the setting and go to time setting display.
3. When INTEG appears it indicates Integration Mode is in use for calculation. Use , to
select the time (second) to be measured and press Enter/Trig to save the setting and exit
the function setting display.
Once the parameter setting is done, users can see the W (active power) indicator aside the AC
Power display is blinking and one second per blink. In the mean time the power reading also
blinks to indicate that it is the measurement of first time. When the time to be tested is due,
the power meter will show a new reading and stat to calculate next power automatically. To
disable the Accumulated Energy Approach Method to calculate the power parameter, repeat
setting parameter 1-3 and set the time to zero in step 3. The power calculation is then
disabled.
When power measurement is set to perform in integration mode, it may cause power
integration measurement error if changing the voltage, current range within integration time.
A message of Range Change Error will appear on the display as Figure 4-21 shows:

When error message appears, press Enter/Trig to clear the error message and the system will
redo the power integration measurement with the reset range. If Enter/Trig is not pressed to
clear the error message, the system will clear it automatically when the integration time is due
and redo power integration measurement with the rest range.
L NOTE
If the user wants to cancel integration mode for measing Power, he can set the time to zero.
The power meter will change by using Avg or Windo set on Meas.
