4.3.3 AC Power Measurement
The parameters for 66200 Series Power Meter to perform AC power tests are W (Active
Power), PF (Power Factor), VA (Apparent Power) and VAR (Reactive Power). Not only the
AC component, but also the DC component will be measured. They are selected by the
switch key aside the display as Figure 4-9 shows.

The calculations of active power (W), power factor (PF), apparent power (VA) and reactive
power (VAR) are based on the following formulas:

Besides using average mode for power measurement display, the 66200 Series Power Meter
can also use integration time mode, see 4.4.3 Meas Function for detail information.
4.3.4 Special Measurement Parameters
The 66200 Series Power Meter has 7 special measurement parameters, which are PF (Power
Factor), CF (Crest Factor), THDV (Total Harmonic Distortion of Voltage), THDI (Total
Harmonic Distortion of Current), F (Frequency), E (Energy) and k (scientific notation). They
are selected by the switch key aside the display. Figure 4-10 and 4-11 show the display of
special parameters for 66201 and 66202 Power Meters.
