4.4 Setting Main Functions
There are four main functions - 1. Shunt, 2. Limit, 3. Meas and 4. Is/Trig for setting. Users
can use the buttons , , Setup , Enter/Trig to select the function and set the data.
Setup: It is the main function selection key. Users can use it to select the functions
of 1. Shunt, 2.Limit, 3. Meas and 4. Is/Trig.
Enter/Trig: It is the confirmation and trigger key. Users can use this key to confirm
and save the settings. In addition it can be used as a trigger of inrush
current, energy and GO/NG selections.
, : They are the sub function and value selection keys. Users can use them to
change the sub function under main function and set the required value.
Above listed the basic knowledge of the keys and detail descriptions and operations of main
functions are explained below.
4.4.1 Shunt Function
66200 Series Power Meter uses shunt resistance as the component for current sampling.
There are AUTO, Hi and Lo current ranges for selection. 66201 Power Meter only provides
Lo current range.
AUTO: The 66202 Power Meter selects applicable Shunt automatically according to
the measured current.
Hi: The maximum current range is 20Arms and the limit is 20Arms.
Lo: The maximum current range is 2Arms and the limit is 4Arms.
Follow the steps below to set the range:
1. Press Setup to select Shunt and the indicator of Shunt is on. Figure 4-12 shows the
setting of Shunt.
