Replacing a Plasma Display—Part Number CTS-DISP-65-GEN4=
c. After you have created a gap of approximately 1/2 inch (1 centimeter) between the screen and
the display shelf, detach the holes on the top screen from the locating pins on the underside of
the display shelves and remove the screen.
• If your projector screen does not have side trims and is flush with the display cabinet, grasp the outer
edges of the screen and pull it up and away from the Projector clips that hold the screen to the
Display shelves.
Step 3 Disconnect the Speaker cables from the Speaker terminals.
Step 4 Loosen the half-turn bolts on either side of the left Speaker board. Slip the Speaker board over the
half-turn bolts and remove it from the work area.
Step 5 If you are replacing the center or right Plasma display, remove the center speaker board by repeating
Step 3 and Step 4.
Step 6 If you are replacing the center Plasma display, proceed to the next section, “Removing the Camera
Cluster”.
Step 7 If you are replacing the right Plasma display, remove the right speaker board by repeating Step 3 and
Step 4.
Step 8 If you are replacing the right Plasma display, skip to the “Removing the Left Door” section on page 12-8.
Step 9 When you complete the procedure, power on the system by completing the steps in the “Powering On
the System” section on page 12-4.
Removing the Camera Cluster
If you are replacing the center Plasma display, you must remove the camera cluster. Refer to the previous
section, Removing and Replacing the Camera Cluster for this procedure.
Removing the Left Door
The left tabletop door section must be removed to allow room to move the Plasma displays in and out of
the work area.
Note Make sure to retain all screws, connectors, and other parts during the disassembly.
Step 1 Remove the safety straps from the underside of the left tabletop section.
Step 2 Unscrew one side of the hinges connecting the left tabletop wing section to the left Table segment.
Step 3 Remove the left tabletop wing section and set it aside.
Removing a Display Shelf
Note Make sure to retain all screws, connectors, and other parts during the disassembly.
