Appendix A T1000 Specifications
Particulate Contamination
Airborne particulates and reactive gases acting alone or in combination with other
environmental factors such as humidity or temperature might pose a risk to the server.
Server should be installed in a server room with appropriate particulate filtering.
Acoustics
Declared sound power level: 7.8 bels (idle), 8.3 bels (operating)
Power Characteristics
Topics in this section described the power specifications of the T1000.
Note: The T1000 is available with either DC power inputs or AC power inputs. The
power input type is not changeable between AC and DC.
Non-OSP Wiring Requirement
The power inputs of the T1000 are suitable for connection to intra-building or unexposed
wiring or cabling only. The power inputs of the T1000 must not be metallically connected to
interfaces that connect to the outside plant (OSP) or its wiring. These inputs are designed for
use as intra-building interfaces only (type 2 or type 4 ports as described in GR-1089-CORE,
Issue 4) and require isolation from the exposed OSP cabling. The addition of primary
protectors is not sufficient protection in order to connect these power inputs metallically to
OSP wiring.
DC Shelf Input
The T1000 DC Shelf has the following power input requirements:
• Minimum: -40 V dc, Maximum: -72 V dc
• Power Input:
– T1010: 2.5 A
– T1100: 6.5 A
– T1200: 18-32 A
• Power Consumption:
– T1010: 450 watts (maximum)
– T1100: 650 watts (maximum)
– T1200: 600 watts (typical), 1050 watts (maximum)
AC Shelf Input
The T1000 AC Shelf has the following power input requirements:
• Sine-wave input (47 - 63 Hz) required. Input voltage range automatically selected
