Use GPS Last Position Enabled
If new GPS location is acquired within guard time, the alarm report is
made immediately with the new coordinate.
If GPS location could not be acquired within Guard Time and Mobile
Lite has stored Last GPS Position, Mobile Lite will make alarm report
with last know GPS position. It will then check for GPS/Cell Locate
coordinates for up to 3 minutes (including Guard Time) and follow up
with another report in event code 645.
If GPS location could not be acquired within Guard Time and Mobile
Lite has NO stored Last GPS Position, Mobile Lite will make alarm
report with no GPS position. It will then check for GPS/Cell Locate
coordinates for up to 3 minutes (including Guard Time) and follow up
with another report in event code 645.
Example:
1. If Guard Time = 30 seconds, GPS Location acquired within Guard Time:
Mobile Lite makes alarm report (CID 100/101/120) 20 seconds after alarm
trigger along with GPS coordinate acquired in Guard Time.
2. If Guard Time = 30 seconds, GPS Location is NOT acquired within Guard
Time:
a. If Mobile Lite has Last GPS Location stored, it makes alarm report
(CID 100/101/120) along with GPS coordinate after Guard Time has
expired.
b. If Mobile Lite does not have Last GPS Location stored, it makes
alarm report (CID 100/101/120) without GPS coordinates after Guard
Time has expired.
Mobile Lite then checks GPS/Cell Locate coordinates for 2.5 minutes (3
minutes – Guard Time).
If GPS/Cell Locate position is acquired within 2.5 minutes, Mobile
Lite makes follow up report (CID 645) immediately with GPS/Cell
Locate coordinate
If GPS/Cell Locate times out, Mobile Lite makes follow up report
(CID 644) without GPS/Cell Locate coordinate.
If Cell Locate error margin is too great. Mobile Lite makes follow up
report (CID 643) without GPS/Cell Locate coordinate.
