7. Amplifier Base
The Amplifier Base enhances Mobile Lite performance when Mobile Lite is
inserted on the base. It is designed to improve Mobile Lite function in home
usage scenario and can only be used when Mobile Lite is inserted on the base.
An AC-DC 12V 1A adaptor is provided to supply power to the Amplifier Base.
The base also has a built-in rechargeable battery. When installing the base,
slide the battery switch to ON after plugging AC power to charge the battery.
The Amplifier Base functions include:
Help Button
The Amplifier Base features an easily accessible Help Button with LED
backlight. When the Mobile Lite is inserted, press the button when Mobile Lite
is idling to activate an alarm; press the button when there is an incoming call to
answer the call.
Voice Prompt Amplifier
When the Mobile Lite is inserted on the base, the Mobile Lite’s voice prompts
will be played through the base’s speaker with improved volume. The Voice
Prompt volume can be adjusted using th volume adjustment button on the
base.
Two-Way Voice Amplifier
When the Mobile Lite is inserted on the base, instead of using Mobile Lite’s
own speaker and microphone, the Two-Way Voice communication will be
processed through the base’s microphone and speaker to improve voice
quality.
The Two-Way voice volume can be adjusted using th volume adjustment
button on the base.
RF Range Extender
When the Mobile Lite is inserted on the base, the base extends Mobile Lite’s
RF signal reception range with its built-in antennae, greatly improving Mobile
Lite RF communication range with learnt in RF devices, allowing user to
activate Mobile Lite even when away from the device at home.
