RECEPTACLE INSTRUCTIONS
(Plug-In HCS)
extending from the bottom of the HCS enclosure. Regulations limit
this plug to a maximum of 12 inches in length, including the plug
head. For this reason, the plug-in HCS must be mounted above the
NEMA receptacle and must also be located within 12 inches of it.
In both NEMA 14-50P and
ground pin is located at the
furthest point on the plug.
It is recommended that a
NEMA 14-50R or 6-50R
receptacle be oriented
accordingly, such that the
ground socket is at the
lowest point.
