2.3.3.4 Recommended Additional Fixing
ATTENTION!! It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure the repeater is installed in a secure
manner.
Suggested precautionary measure:
• A bracket is provided to securely mount the repeater on the wall; however, as an ADDITIONAL
precautionary measure, it is recommended to further secure the repeater to the wall (in addition
to the bracket).
• This can be done using any appropriate method.
The following figures provide
examples
of additional fixings. In the examples, support is provided in
the form of a cable harness loop that is looped around the repeater handle and secured to the wall
or part of the building support structure.
