2.3.6 Service Antenna Connections
WARNINGS! Be sure the antennas are connected BEFORE applying power to the
repeater.
Connect the Server antenna to the Repeater DIN 7/16server antenna connection.

2.3.7 Power Connections and Power On
This section describes how to connect the power source to the repeater and power on the repeater.
This section also provides information about the backup battery pack.
2.3.7.1 Power Connections
CAUTION!!
Make sure the antenna cables or 50 ohm terminations are connected to the repeater’s
antenna connectors before the repeater is turned on.
Be sure a CIRCUIT BREAKER meeting the instructions given in section
2.2.3.1 is
connected near the unit at an easily reachable and accessible location from the unit.
Be sure the POWER SOURCE TO THE REPEATER IS DISCONNECTED before
connecting the power wires to the repeater power plinth.
Please be aware that the equipment may, during certain conditions become very
warm and can cause minor injuries if handled without any protection, such as gloves.
For -48VDC models - the -48VDC version of the power supply is designed to turn off if the supply
voltage falls below -36V (±1V), not to drain the feeding battery. It will turn on again as the supply
voltage reaches -43V (± 1V).
