- not to leave it unattended in the presence of children, elderly people or disabled persons without
supervision;
- to arrange it in a stable position without any risk of falling;
- not to put it in contact or in the immediate vicinity of inammable materials.
a) Reset the delivery pressure as described at point c) of the
“OPERATION”
paragraph.
b) In the case of machine equipped with an electric motor, put the main switch into position “0” and remove
the plug from the power socket. In the case of machine equipped with a combustion engine, carry out the
steps for stopping explained in the engine manual and disconnect the spark plug contact.
c) Put the lance lever (26) into the
“ON”
position to discharge all residual pressure.
d) Wait for the machine to cool down completely.
CLEANING AND DECOMMISSIONING
WARNING
• Also comply with the safety instructions regarding cleaning and decommissioning contained in
the manual of any combustion engine equipping the machine.
• Read the
“PRECAUTIONS CONCERNING PUMPED CHEMICAL PRODUCTS”
paragraph carefully.
• All cleaning jobs must only be performed after carrying out the operations described in the
“STOP”
paragraph, meaning without any moving parts, no pipe full of liquid under pressure and only after
complete cooling.
In particular, always remember to disconnect the power supply or disconnect the spark plug contact.
• Any cleaning jobs must be performed in conditions of total stability with the machine on a at surface.
• Always wear suitable protective clothing when cleaning and emptying the tank.
• The liquids from emptying and rinsing the tank must be collected in proper containers and reutilised for
the next treatments or appropriately disposed of by separate waste collection centres and, however, in
compliance with the laws in force in the country where the machine is used.
• Do not wash the machine near waterways, wells, springs or ditches.
• To clean, do not use thinners or solvents.
a) Carry out the steps described in the
“STOP”
paragraph.
b) Empty the tank completely, unscrewing the drain plug(10).
c) Clean and rinse the inside of the tank.
d) Screw the drain plug(10) back down and put some clean water in the tank.
e) Check that the lance (13) adjuster(24) is turned completely in the
“S”
direction so lever (26) can be moved
into the
“OFF”
position. If provided, move the tap lever(39) into the
“OFF”
position.
f) Reset delivery pressure as explained in point c) of the
"OPERATION"
paragraph.
g) Start the machine for priming to start as explained in point d) in the
"OPERATION"
paragraph.
h) If provided, move the tap lever(39) into the
“O N”
position.
i) Move lever(26) spraying inside the tank to carry out a pump cleaning cycle.
j) Repeat from pointsa) tod) without putting water back in the tank.
k) Wind up the delivery hose carefully without any bends.
l) Wind up the power lead carefully, if any.

In machines tted with a combustion engine, follow the instructions for cleaning and storing given in the
engine manual.
n) Carefully store the machine in a dry, clean place, taking care not to damage the power lead or the delivery hose.
CAUTION
• Do not leave the machine stopped with chemical products inside.
• The machine must be protected against freezing.
In very cold environments, to prevent the ice from forming inside, before decommissioning, it is best
to suction a car anti-freeze product and then proceed to fully expel it. If it is not possible to protect the
machine this way, before starting it, take it to a warm environment for long enough to melt any ice inside.
Failure to do so could cause serious damage to the machine.
