3. Wait until the motor pump and the machine incorporating it have cooled down.
4. If the machine is not to be used for some time, disconnect the battery cables.
CAUTION
When the CBM module and the machine that incorporates it are left to cool ensure:
- it is not left unattended if there are unsupervised children, elderly or disabled persons present;
- it is stable with no risk of falling;
- it is not in contact with, or in the immediate vicinity of, ammable materials.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
CAUTION

All cleaning must be carried out only after the procedures described in the section
“shut-Down
,
i.e.
with no parts in motion, with no hoses containing liquid under pressure and when cooling is
complete.
In particular, always remember to disconnect the battery
.
All cleaning procedures must be carried out in conditions of stability.
Do not use thinners or solvents for cleaning.
WARNING
Before cleaning and storage of the CBM module remember to run the EVERFLO motor pump for a few
minutes with pure water to clean the hoses and internal parts to remove the chemicals used.
Never store leave the EVERFLO motor pump with chemicals inside it.
The EVERFLO motor pump is subject to frost damage
.
In order to prevent the formation of ice inside the machine in harsh environments, it is advisable
to aspirate an automotive antifreeze and then proceed to completely evacuate it before storing
the machine. If it is not possible to protect the motor pump as outlined above, place it in a warm
environment before start-up for a period of time that is sucient for any ice that may have formed
inside it to melt – failure to comply with these simple requirements may result in serious damage to
the motor pump.
CAUTION
• Fluids used for rinsing and antifreeze must be properly disposed of and not dispersed in the
environment.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Follow the maintenance instructions contained in the manual of the machine that
incorporates the CBM module and the EVERFLO motor pump that includes it.
Maintenance must be carried out only after the procedures described in the section

CAUTION.
To ensure the safety of the CBM module, only original spare parts supplied by the
Manufacturer or approved thereby must be used.
