INSTRUCTIONS TRANSLATED FROM ITALIAN
PREAMBLE
This manual is addressed to both the end user and the Specialist Technician . It includes the instructions
for the use and maintenance of the CBM module (Comet Battery Module) and provides the instructions
for correct incorporation into the nal machine.
Specialist Technician signies:
• the Manufacturer of the machine (e.g. wheelbarrow for plant health treatment) incorporating the CBM
module;
• a person, generally from the support centre, who is specially trained and authorised to carry out non-
routine maintenance and repairs on the motor pump, the CBM module and the machine incorporating
it. Recall that work on electrical parts must be carried out by a
Specialist Technician .
GENERAL INFORMATION
We recommend carefully reading the EVERFLO motor pump manual, this manual and that of the machine
incorporating the CBM module:
pay special care to the information contained therein.
Particular care must be paid to reading the parts of the text marked with the symbol:
CAUTION
as the sections contain important safety instructions regarding the CBM module.
The Manufacturer shall not be liable for damage arising from:
• failure to comply with the contents of this document, the EVERFLO motor pump manual and the
manual of the machine incorporating the CBM module;
• use of the CBM module other than that set out in the section
“DesignateD use” ;
• use contrary to the regulations in force regarding safety and accident prevention in the workplace;
• tampering with safety devices or maximum operating pressure limitations;
• erroneous assembly or installation;
• lack of due care regarding routine maintenance intervals;
• modications or interventions not authorised by the Manufacturer;
• use of non-original or unsuitable spare parts;
• repairs not carried out by a
Specialist Technician .
USE AND STORAGE OF THE MANUAL
CAUTION
• This manual is to be combined with that of the EVERFLO motor pump and that of the CBM module included
on the machine:
read all three manuals carefully .
• The EVERFLO motor pump manual must always accompany this manual.
The manual is to be considered an integral part of the CBM module and must be kept for future reference
in a protected place so that it may be consulted promptly if required.
The manual contains important warnings regarding the safety of the operator and those around them,
as well as respect for the environment.
In the event of deterioration or loss, a new copy must be requested from the Manufacturer or
Specialist
Technician
.
In the event of transfer of ownership of the machine that includes the CBM module, this manual and that
of the EVERFLO motor pump must be handed over to the new user.
