in compliance with the laws in force in the country where the machine is used.
Do not clean the lters near waterways, wells, springs or ditches.
Dispose of used ltering cartridges and lters in the proper manner and not in the environment.
Proceed as follows to clean the ll-up lter(23):
- turn the cover(2) anticlockwise and take it o;
- take the lter out and clean it; if the dirt is particularly stubborn, replace the lter (16x20 mesh), contacting
a
SKILLED TECHNICIAN
for the correct part to use;
- reposition the lter and close, turning the cover (2) clockwise without forcing.
Proceed as follows to clean the suction lter(5):
a) ECO trolleys with lter with valve:
- press knob(42) and turn it anticlockwise to release it;
- extract the knob(42): the lter valve prevents liquid leaking from the tank except for the small quantity
of uid that is inside the lter body;
- turn the ring nut(43) anticlockwise until it is completely unscrewed;
- take the ltering cartridge out and clean it; if the dirt is particularly stubborn, replace the cartridge (32÷50
mesh), contacting a
SKILLED TECHNICIAN
for the correct part to use;
- reposition the cartridge and close the lter, turning the ring nut (43) clockwise all the way down;
- re-insert the knob(42) and keep it pressed; turn it clockwise until the locked position is reached.
b) Other barrow and trolley models:
- turn the ring nut(43) anticlockwise until it is completely unscrewed;
- take the ltering cartridge out and clean it; if the dirt is particularly stubborn, replace the cartridge (32÷50
mesh), contacting a
SKILLED TECHNICIAN
for the correct part to use;
- reposition the cartridge and close the lter, turning the ring nut (43) clockwise all the way down.
DIAPHRAGM BREAKAGE
The breakage of one or more diaphragms can cause aggression on the mechanical part of the pump by the
pumped liquids.
The following are symptoms of possible diaphragm breakage:
whitish colour of the oil (symptom of water in oil);
excessive oil consumption;
sudden disappearance of oil from volumetric compensator (32).
CAUTION
To avoid the negative consequences of such a fault, use of the machine must be immediately stopped
and a
SKILLED TECHNICIAN
must be straight away contacted (within 24 hours) to carry out the necessary
inspections.
If, in the case of an evident diaphragm breakage, a
SKILLED TECHNICIAN
cannot be contacted straight
away, it is best to empty the mix of oil and pumped liquid from the pan and ll it with oil or diesel fuel, to
prevent oxidisation.
The following often cause diaphragm breakage:
- blockages in the suction circuit (pipes of inadequate diameter, very dirty lter, pumping of very dense
liquids, etc.);
- use of highly aggressive chemical products.
SPECIAL MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Special maintenance jobs must only be performed by a
SKILLED TECHNICIAN
.
Used oil and any replaced spare parts must be adequately disposed of and not discarded in the
environment.
Follow the indications given in the following table for special maintenance jobs.
