In machines tted with a combustion engine, remember to also carry out the special maintenance jobs
described in the engine manual.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE JOB
Every 300 hours. • Check the pump suction/delivery valves and the control unit
regulation valve. (*)
• Oil change (**)
Every 500 hours. • Reduction gear oil change(***).
At the end of the season or once a year. • Check and if necessary change the diaphragms(****)
• Check the tightness of the motor pump screws.
• Check the safety devices.
(*) Checks must be more frequent if liquids are used with abrasive particles in suspension.
(**) The oil must be changed whenever the diaphragm is changed.
(***) For motor pumps tted with MC8 and MC18 this is not necessary; for MC20/20 and MC25 it is done
when changing the pump oil.
(****) If very aggressive chemical products are used, the diaphragms are best changed whatever their condition.
CAUTION
• The data shown on the chart are approximate. More frequent jobs may be necessary in case of particularly
heavy-duty use.
HANDLING AND TRANSPORT
WARNING
• Carry out the steps described in the
“STOP”
paragraph before handling or transporting the machine.
• When the machine has to be transported, remember to anchor it rmly to the transport vehicle (using
ropes or other suitable methods) and empty the tank.
• Take a rm hold of the handle(7) to avoid that knocks and bumps caused by unevenness of the ground
make you lose your grip. Bear this in mind especially with a full tank and wet ground.
• The machine is to be moved around only using the gripping points of the handle(7).
• Do not move the machine on gradients greater than 2% and when the ground is very wet.
DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL
WARNING
• Before scrapping the machine, make it unusable, for example by cutting the power lead and render
harmless those parts that could be hazardous for children playing with the machine. Also remember to
empty the tank completely.
Only qualied persons must be allowed to dismantle the machine and this operation must be performed in
compliance with the laws applicable in the country where it has been installed (also refer to the contents of
the
“IDENTIFICATION AND CAUTION PLATES”
paragraph).
