Setting the numbers with CCT
1. Intercom Server > Cards
2. Click in the right hand side area with the right mouse button and select add Intercom Server. At
Intercom Server-Type select the option GE 800, at Server-ID the desired number is enterd and
accepted with “OK”.
3. Repeat step 2 and enter the next number in the field Server-ID. Repeat this step for all further
housings. At Description a text for each housing can be entered.
4. Menu Intercom Server > Initialize
5. Connect one housing after the other to the PC and select Initialize. In the field Current Server-ID
the current Server-ID is displayed. In the field New Server-ID the desired number is entered and
taken over with Initialize.
As soon as the number is transmitted it also appears in the field Server-ID.

Now all cards are correctly recognised and the
Intercom Server can be configured as usual. For configuration the PC can be connected to any
housing; all housings are configured like a single housing.
Configuration of IP-Network Settings
Auto-Configuration of the Network
When a GE 800 is initialized IP-addresses are automatically generated for the G8-GEP and G8-NET
:
Configuration CCT:
IP - Settings > Tab Common
Card IP Address: In this field the desired IP-address for the Server is configured.
Subnet mask: In this field the desired subnet mask for the Server is configured (e.g.:. 255.255.0.0
for Auto-configuration of the network).
Router IP address: In this field the IP-address of the router (also "Gateway") is configured, via
which the Intercom Servers communicate.
A VLAN - ID is only required when the GE 800 is in a virtual network. The ID is entered as decimal
value between 1 and 1023.
