Card Versions and Feature Levels
The subscriber cards are available in the following versions and can be upgraded with the according
licenses:
An overview of the features levels B, C, D can be found in the current version of the manual “PRO 800“.
*At cards with variable feature level P (e.g. G8-IP-8P) the feature levels (B, C, D) can be assigned to the
individual subscribers as shown in the table below (in CCT 800, at Intercom Server > Cards > field
Working as):
Licence Types
Runtime (for regular systems at customers)
Demo & Training (with various trial periods - e.g. 7 days)
Temp (maximum 30 days; switching Intercom Servers off and on reduces this time)
For testing purposes and emergency situations after hardware defects
Can only be used once per type and slot
Is created directly in CCT (no connection to licence server required)
Terminology
The following terms are used during the licensing procedure:
Licence key
E.g.: T170-100-142577008-027
(Product-ID-Run-LicenceCode-Check sum)
Is printed on licence sheet
Contains licence code and checksum
Is not allocated to a specific Intercom Server
Activation code
E.g.: T170-0815-1508-1147-4711-0815
Is generated as soon as a licence key is allocated to an Intercom Server with serial number
Is only required when no internet connection is available during CCT-configuration
Deactivation code
E.g.: T170-4711-0815-4711-0815-4711
Is generated by the Intercom Server (G8-GEP) and is required to deactivate the licence at the licence
server. After deactivation and release at the licence server the licence can be allocated to a different
Intercom Server. This increases the generation number by 1 step.
Is only required when no internet connection is available during CCT-configuration
