Setup Password Allows you to enable Setup
(administrator) password, controlling
access to Computer Setup.
Allows you to specify Smart Cover
Sensor settings (Disabled, Notify
User).
Advanced (button) Allows you to lock or unlock Smart
Cover Lock.
Allows you to disable External Ports
(USB, serial, parallel).
Allows you to disable Embedded
Controllers (SCSI, network, audio).
System Information Processor Lists CPU type, maximum speed, and
presence of coprocessor.
System Parameters Lists asset tag and serial number,
which are already assigned to the
computer.
Allows you to specify ownership tag,
which is displayed during POST.
Bus Priority Allows you to specify ISA or PCI bus
priority.
Quick Boot Allows you to enable Quick Boot,
which is faster than Full Boot, but
does not run all of the diagnostic tests
that are run during Full Boot. You can
choose to:
• Use Quick Boot every time
(default).
• Use Full Boot every time.
• Use Full Boot periodically
(specify interval from 1 to 31
days).
