Using Diskettes
The diskette drive stores (or writes) information onto a 3.5-inch
diskette. You can use three diskette capacities:
1.44-MB high-density (HD) diskette stores approximately 250
pages of text.
1.2-MB high-density (HD) diskette stores approximately 200
pages of text.
720-Kbyte double-density (DD) diskette stores approximately
125 full pages of text.
Using the CD-ROM Drive
To insert a CD-ROM disc into a CD-ROM drive, follow these
steps:
1. Push the CD-ROM release button to eject the CD-ROM tray.
NOTE:
The computer must be turned on to eject the CD-ROM
drive.
2. Gently place the CD-ROM disk, label facing up, in the CD-
ROM tray until it is correctly seated.
3. Push in the CD-ROM tray and the disc is ready to be accessed.
