2. Locate and disconnect the signal cable and
the power cable from the back of the mass
storage device in drive position B or C
(Figure 7-40).
3. Remove the retaining screws on the side of
the drive housing assembly.
4. Slide the mass storage device out of the
drive position (Figure 7-41).

To replace a half-height storage device in drive
position B or C, reverse steps 1 through 4,
following the power cable connection guidelines
in Table 7-3.
