Driving on flooded roads
To prevent damage to the vehicle driving on
flooded roads, t
ake the following into ac-
count:

The water should never come above the
lower edge of the bodywork.
●
Drive at pedestrian speed.

After driving through flooded zones, brak-
ing effectiveness can decrease if the brake
discs or pads are damp

Driving through flooded areas may dam-
age vehicle components such as the en-
gine, transmission or electrical system.

Whenever driving through water, the
Start-Stop system* must be switched off

●
Check the depth of the water before en-
tering the flooded zone.
●
Do not stop in the water, drive in reverse,
or stop the engine.
●
Vehicles travelling in the opposite direc-
tion cause waves that could exceed your
vehicle's critical height.

Driver assistance systems
Cruise control system (CCS)*
Control lamp
It lights up green
The Cruise Control System (GRA) is switched on and
active.
OR: The Adaptive Cruise Control system (CCS) is
switched on and active.
OR: the speed limiter is switched on and active.
The control lamps light up when the ignition
is s
wit
ched on and should turn off after ap-
proximately 2 seconds. This is the time taken
for the function check.
