66 Using the Console Interface
System Reset
To perform a System Reset,
1. Choose System Reset from the main menu.

2. Move the cursor to Yes to confirm the reset and press Enter.
The Switch should restart.
Factory Reset
Before performing a factory reset, be absolutely certain that this is
what you want to do. Once the reset is done, all of the Switch’s
settings stored in NV-RAM (including TCP/IP parameters, SNMP
parameters, the enabled/disabled settings of ports, security
settings, etc.) will be erased and restored to their factory default
settings.
1. Choose Factory Reset NV-RAM to Default Value from
the main menu.
