config arp_aging
Used to configure the age-out timer for ARP
table entries on the Switch.
Syntax
config arp_aging time <value>
Description This command sets the maximum amount of
time, in minutes, that an ARP entry can remain
in the Switch’s ARP table, without being
accessed, before it is dropped from the table.
Parameters
time <value 0-65535> − The ARP age-out time,
in minutes. The default is 20.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this
command.
Purpose
Example Usage:
To configure ARP aging time:
DES-3326S:4#config arp_aging time 30
Command: config arp_aging time 30
Success.
