General Safety
CAUTION
Keep oil or brake fluid off the brake disk and pad because the contaminated brake disk and pad reduces
the braking performance. If contaminated, replace the pad with a new one, and clean the disk.
Use special tire levers and rim protectors to remove or assemble tires to protect the the rim from being
damaged.
This section describes how to remove and maintain front wheels, front fork and steering system. For
information on the front brake system, refer to section 14.
Place a jack underneath the engine to support the 2-wheeled vehicle.
