For EMC-compliant installation
Establish electrical contact between the cable
shield and the frequency converter enclosure by
using metal cable glands or by using the clamps
provided on the equipment (see chapter 4.5 Motor
Connection).
Use high-strand wire to reduce burst transient.
Do not use pigtails.
NOTICE
POTENTIAL EQUALIZATION
Risk of burst transient when the ground potential
between the frequency converter and the control system
is dierent. Install equalizing cables between the system
components. Recommended cable cross-section: 16 mm
2
(6 AWG).
