3. Disconnect the internal Vdc power connector, referring to Figure 67.

4. Connect the external Vdc jumper onto the power connector, referring to Figure 68.

5. Replace and tighten the Display and Keypad panel screws to close the scanner.
You must supply Vdc power externally through the 17-pin connector.
