Place the media in the Media
Sensor. Record the sensor
reading and label it ‘P
(paper).
Place the backing, mark, or
notch in the Media Sensor.
Record the sensor reading and
label it ‘G’ or ‘M’ (Gap or
Mark).
Remove all media. Record
the sensor reading and label it
‘E’ (Empty).
