8.10.2 Managing a parallel cascade
Caution
Parallel mode is not suitable for the cascades of oil generators
connected to a single flue gas pipe (for start-up reasons).
1 All generators start to operate when the system temperature is
3 °C below the set point temperature and if the outdoor
temperature is less than the value of the NP007
CascTOutsideHeatParl parameter (Outdoor trigger temperature).
2 The first generator shuts down when system temperature is 3 °C
above the set point temperature.
3 After the duration defined by the NP009 parameter (here 4
minutes), the second generator shuts down if ΔT < 6 °C and the
system temperature is still more than 3 °C above the set point
temperature.
4 After a second duration defined by the NP009 parameter (here 8
minutes), the third generator shuts down if ΔT < 6 °C and the
system temperature is still more than 3 °C above the set point
temperature.
