8.1.4 Topology examples
These examples show possible configurations for the controller Ethernet system.
CAUTION
The DEIF controllers do not include a firewall or other Internet security measures. It is the customer's own responsibility to
protect the network. DEIF therefore recommends only connecting the controllers to local networks.
DEIF network chain
Up to 12 controllers can be connected to each other in a DEIF network chain, as shown in the following diagram.
