NOTE: The preceding gures show dual-IOM conguration. Alternatively, you can congure the 2U controller enclosure with a
single-IOM. In single-controller congurations, the controller module installs into IOM slot A, and an IOM-blank is tted to IOM
slot B.
2U rear panel components
This section describes the controller module and expansion module components.
Controller module
The top slot for holding IOMs is designated A and the bottom slot is designated B. The face plate details of the IOMs show the modules
aligned for use in A. In this orientation, the IOM latch appears at the bottom of the module. It is shown in closed/locked position. The
diagrams below identify ports.

diagrams also show proper orientation for IOM insertion into slots located on the 5U84 enclosure rear panel. CNC host interface ports that
can be congured with 16Gb/s FC SFPs or 10 GbE iSCSI SFPs.
